IEM Measurements

This is a page for measurements of IEM frequency response I have come across. Take this as a rough guide on what to expect. The measurements below should not be used to compare with other measurements directly as there are many variabilities.

The aim for this experiment is to be consistent at a level that a normal person will listen to the IEM. The tips used from 7hz was chosen as it gives the best fit into the measurement couple, fits most IEM, and the results are constantly repeatable with good confidence.

All measurements are done with a IEC60318-4 Clone Coupler. One day maybe I will get the proper Gras version.

Setup: IEC60318-4 Coupler + Apple Dongle, Calibrated to 76-77 dB, Tips from 7hz (Cylindrical Type), Software by REW.
